We are blessed with a dedicated Leadership Council and others who lead teams and committees that keep CLS Metro alive. These individuals share their gifts and talents, continually giving of themselves from their hearts.
Rev. Jackie LaBarre, Spiritual Leader
Rev. Jackie LaBarre is the Spiritual Leader of the Center for Spiritual Living Metro, a thriving online New Thought spiritual community serving the Washington, DC metropolitan area. With a deep commitment to spiritual growth, conscious living, and inclusive community, Rev. Jackie brings heartfelt leadership and transformative teachings grounded in the Science of Mind philosophy.
Sandra Minnesang, Secretary
Sandy, an outreach practitioner who lives in Delaware and summers in Maine with her partner, Ruth, has been a licensed practitioner since 2004. She began her SOM studies while serving as an educator in Southern California, where she earned a BA in English and an MA in Education and did graduate work in psychology. Sandy was a very active supporter of the only CSL Center in Delaware beginning when she moved there in 2000 until it closed in 2016. In addition to her service as a practitioner, Sandy serves as the Leadership Council Secretary, and in her spare time enjoys traveling, reading, writing, attending live performances, being in Nature, and spending time with family and friends.
Josh Van Tassel, Treasurer
My journey as a practitioner began in 2015 and led to my licensing in 2021. I've always had a spiritual bent, and discovering the Science of Mind philosophy was like finding the language my soul had been speaking all along. It revealed to me the truth of my oneness with the Divine and invited me to live from that awareness. This mindset keeps me grounded, centered, and empowered to express my highest self.
Before stepping into spiritual service, I served as an Army Officer and worked as a contractor for the Navy. Today, I work as a programmer and data analyst—but I consider myself a data artist. And by extension, I am a Life Artist, using spiritual principles to shape and design a life filled with meaning, creativity, and joy.
Whether it’s through spiritual mind treatment, creative expression, or deep listening, I’m honored to walk with others as they awaken to the power and presence already within them.
Jeffery Segall, Member at Large
Jeffery Segall is a member of CSL Metro since 2021 and currently serves on the Leadership Council. He has completed multiple Science of Mind classes with both Rev. Jackie and Rev. Trish. Jeffery’s background includes service leadership roles in several non-profits and spiritual organizations. He enjoys exploring the interplay of philosophy, theology and history with modern spiritual expressions. After undergraduate studies in Finance and Economics, Jeffery earned his MBA and a MA in Hebrew Literature.
Dianne Stewart Hamlin, RScP, Member at Large
Dianne Stewart Hamlin, RScP is a Licensed Spiritual Practitioner at CSL Metro. She is co-Director of our Family ministry offering a Sunday project for our youth on our in-person Sunday gatherings the first Sunday of the month. Dianne is also a Conscious Attorney, Public Speaker, Author, Transformational Life Coach, and Spiritual Counselor.
